DinkLab was built from a simple belief: performance should never come with a price tag that keeps players out of the game.

Our story starts with our founder, Dylan Allen  a player who fell in love with pickleball not just for the competition, but for the process. Like so many others, he saw the game evolving fast… but also becoming expensive. High-performance paddles were pushing into premium price ranges, creating a gap between serious play and affordability.

Instead of accepting that, Dylan decided to do something about it.

Using his own savings, he took a risk to build something different  a brand focused on delivering elite-level performance without the inflated cost. That decision became DinkLab.

The name itself reflects exactly who we are.

“Dink” is one of the most fundamental shots in pickleball. It’s how every player starts  the warm-up, the rhythm, the foundation of control and touch. It represents discipline, patience, and the roots of the game.

“Lab” is where improvement happens. It’s where ideas are tested, refined, and perfected. It represents the constant pursuit of getting better of pushing limits, learning, and evolving.

Put together, DinkLab stands for the journey of mastering your craft.
